Gilles Isard is a Krav Maga Expert certified in Israel by Master Eyal Yanilov. He started Krav Maga in 2011 and has been  training in the system since then.  In 2014 he trained intensively in Israel notably under Master Zeev Cohen, and got certified Krav Maga instructor for self-defense in Netanya (Israel) directly under the supervision of Master Eyal Yanilov.

• Certified instructor in Krav Maga for VIP Protection and Third Party Protection.

Gilles has more than 30 years experience in martial arts. Beside Krav Maga he trained 10 years  in Judo and 7 years in  Taekwondo (2nd Dan black belt) and has received significant training in other style such as Hapkido.
He is the founder,  director and chief instructor of  Krav Maga Global Japan and he is the only official representative of KMG in the country.

Before becoming a professional Krav Maga instructor, Gilles worked for 25 years with Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières) the world biggest emergency medical organization. He has worked all over the world as a logistician and head of mission and notably in some of the most dangerous location (at the time) such has Somalia, Rwanda, Sudan, Congo, Pakistan and Afghanistan.
