Knife is one of the most common weapon use by aggressors in the street. A Knife is a extremely dangerous weapon because it is easy to handle, so stabs and slashes can be done in a very fast motion. As much as possible a defender should use objects to protect himself against the knife attacks. Common objects such as bags, chairs, even a laptop computer can be use as a shield to protect oneself against knife attack and increase the chance of survival. The shield is usually held with 2 hands to block the attack therefore counterattacks shall be done with kicks; to the groin, to the knees or to the abdomen.
